NIMS

The NIMS training provides training on and resources for emergency response and support personnel and individuals who wish to improve their knowledge and understanding of NIMS. Open/Close detailed course description.

National Incident Management System (NIMS) Training: Provides training on and resources for the National Incident Management System (NIMS). NIMS provides a consistent nationwide template to enable all government, private sector, and nongovernmental organizations to work together during domestic incidents. The primary target audiences for this course are Department of Agriculture emergency response and support personnel and individuals who wish to improve their knowledge and understanding of NIMS. There are no prerequisites for this course. The course is designed so that it can be taken via the Internet or from a CD-ROM. This course is identical in content to the IS-700 course that is offered by FEMA.

ICS100

The ICS 100 training provides training on and resources for personnel who require a basic understanding of ICS. Open/Close detailed course description.

Incident Command System (ICS) 100 Training: Provides training on and resources for personnel who require a basic understanding of the Incident Command System (ICS). The primary target audiences for this course are all Department of Agricultural emergency response and support personnel. Secondary audiences include State and local personnel who may respond to incidents. Introduction to NIMS is a prerequisite for this course. The course is designed so that it can be taken via the Internet or from a CD-ROM.

ICS200

The ICS 200 training provides training on and resources for personnel who are likely to assume a supervisory position within ICS. Open/Close detailed course description.

Incident Command System (ICS) 200 Training: Provides training on and resources for personnel who are likely to assume a supervisory position within the Incident Command System (ICS). The primary target audiences for this course are all Department of Agriculture emergency response and support personnel at the supervisory level. Secondary audiences include State and local personnel who may respond to incidents and be assigned a lead role responsibility. The prerequisite for this course is ICS-100. The course is designed so that it can be taken via the Internet or from a CD-ROM.

ICS300

The ICS 300 training provides training and resources for personnel who will hold supervisory positions within ICS. Open/Close detailed course description.

ICS-300 is a web-based interactive course for USDA employees that builds on ICS-200 and presents a more in depth look at the Incident Command System (ICS) and the vital role that the students can play. ICS-300 provides training and resources for personnel who will hold supervisory positions within ICS. Completion of ICS-100 and ICS-200 are prerequisites for taking ICS-300.

NRP

The NRP training provides training on and resources for emergency response and support personnel and individuals who wish to improve their knowledge and understanding of NRP. Open/Close detailed course description.

National Response Plan (NRP) Training: Provides training on and resources for the National Response Plan (NRP). The NRP specifies how the resources of the Federal Government will work in concert with State, local, and tribal governments and the private sector to respond to Incidents of National Significance. The NRP is predicated on the National Incident Management System, or NIMS. Together the NRP and the NIMS provide a nationwide framework for working cooperatively to prevent or respond to threats and incidents regardless of cause, size, or complexity. The primary target audiences for this course are Department of Agriculture emergency response and support personnel and individuals who wish to improve their knowledge and understanding of NIMS. There are no prerequisites for this course. The course is designed so that it can be taken via the Internet or from a CD-ROM. This course is identical in content to the IS-800 course that is offered by FEMA.
